Make Yourself Heard is THE show for and by disabled people, and I am passionate about bringing the voices of disabled people in and around Reading to everyone’s attention… because we’re an important part of the Reading scene! If you tune in you’ll hear news on disability issues across the widest possible range; interviews with disabled people and an amazing variety of music from folk to classical to African to smack up-to-date.
Most importantly, perhaps, if someone tells me about a disability issue that is bothering them, and there is an organisation or individual I can approach to try to resolve it, I do. So we’ve had a solicitor on, the Chief Exec of Reading Buses and various others, addressing problems that really matter.
You may not like all the music or all the views, but you won’t be able to listen without being interested, entertained and informed.
