  James Crowther has been in the forefront of the Beach Boys Fan Club world since the 70's,he also is a published writer,poet and has been in and out of bands since his teens ,in his dotage he has developed into a fairly successful songwriter,writing with such great writers as Chris "Spanish Wine" White and Francis Greene,he has wound up providing songs for amongst others, The Surfonics,The Talking Mules,Major External Screwheads Rubber Band [his latest band who's name is anagram of his own-James Alexander Crowther~Major External Screwhead] The Majors of Invention,My Dad's Truck and has even had his compositions performed by Tudor Lodge,he appears in many guises but mostly is known[on Facebook/Myspace] as The Major and has recently been hired to compose the sleeve notes to the Dutch auteur Wim's new cd Tree,his show will feature in the first hour the best or maybe the most bizarre Pop from the 60's to Date,whilst his second set will highlight a local act ,so any unsigned act send him an mp3 for consideration,the show will be full of local event announcements,reviews of local gigs ,competitions and,hopefully,phone-ins from local people.The by word is Fun,Tune In,Join In,Everyone and every comment Welcome.
